Pi Synesthesia Red is the second release from Ozgener Family Cigars in a single vitola, 6 x 52 Toro. Inspired by an abstract painting of the same name done by Tim Ozgenerandrsquo;s late father and CAO Cigars founder, Cano A. Ozgener. The painting appears in miniature on the cigarandrsquo;s band. Since the color red evokes things like heat, red peppers, and spicy foods, the challenge was to create a blend that tastes like the color red. To do things with tobacco of that magnitude you need a master blender like Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Ernesto decided to use a superior Ecuador Sumatra wrapper over a savory blend of thoroughly-aged Nicaraguan fillers from several regions. The smoke issues a rich, refined, and natural tobacco flavor. Notes of sweet cream, toasted nuts, and earth ensue.
